There's little to no shedding and no smell but like us humans, all human hair eventually will shed so that's not a negative for me. I got the wig and put it on and got lots o compliments. She was very communicative from the start and the wig came in 4 days (I live in California). The hair is beautiful, thick, and natural and didn't smell weird. For the price, I was impressed. Also for the price, I had to understand that there may be a little extra work on my part (I had to wash the hair, and remove a few empty nit shells-very normal for virgin hair). When I showed these concerns to the seller, she was very helpful in her suggestions. In all honesty, if you're thinking of buying this wig and think it's going to look like a $1,000 wig, your expectations are the ones to blame for your dissatisfaction, not the seller.The company does a good job trying to make the customer feel valued and comfortable and the product is excellent.
